You're right, Carrie. We all need a break and some down time for ourselves.:)

hotforscott 08-09-2003 01:56 PM

I know, it is harder with kids and stuff. That's when I say, "Daniel, get to work" LOL! Sometimes I leave him a list when I go to work in the morning. I am sure he just loves me to death, huh? ;)

Dogstar 08-09-2003 01:59 PM

LMAO, Carrie...That's a good thing, a list...Everyone should pitch in :D.

Sheila63 08-09-2003 01:59 PM

I was just going to say how much credit I give to people who work, have kids and a home to take care of. That's alot of work!! So you leave Daniel a "honey do" list, huh, Carrie? LOL!! j/k. I think it's great when you can share the work.

Dogstar 08-09-2003 02:00 PM

Yeah, no kidding, Sheila. I have enough trouble keeping up with just me, LOL.

hotforscott 08-09-2003 02:03 PM

Yeah, I do leave him a list sometimes. I keep my house pretty imaculate. A lot of people look at me like I am crazy when I say, "Sorry for the mess", but I clean quite often. It's not like he has just a ton to do, but I want to be sure it stays clean and it isn't a wreck when I get home. That is one thing I can't stand. LOL! I am glad we share the work as well. I would probably be a grump all the time if we didn't.

Sheila63 08-09-2003 02:04 PM

I hear you, Dogstar. I totally agree with you.

Dogstar 08-09-2003 02:07 PM

LOL, Carrie...I can't say I keep my place immaculate, lol...It's clean, but somewhat cluttered. My mom was a major neat freak when I was a kid, so I guess I just rebelled. When she comes to visit, she cracks me up because she's like, How can you stand all these little piles of things all over? I just laugh and tell her, hey, I know where everything is. I call it organized clutter. I'm kind of anal about my books and CDs, though. They are alphabetized and all...

Sheila63 08-09-2003 02:19 PM

I'm the same way, Dogstar. Your mom and my mom sound like they could be related, LOL!! My mom is the same way and have said the same things to me.:P

Dogstar 08-09-2003 02:25 PM

LMAO, Sheila. We used to have to pull apart the house and clean it every Friday after school. We used to call it *big cleaning* and I used to get so mad that I couldn't go out and play with my friends because I had to CLEAN....ARRRRRGHHHH....My friends used to get so mad. They were like, why can't you clean tomorrow? LOL, it was such a drag that I vowed I would never clean like that on Fridays. To this day, unless my place looks like a cyclone hit it, I do no domestic duty on Fridays :D :P.

Sheila63 08-09-2003 05:13 PM

I understand. Saturday is my usual day for chores but I'm not feeling very motivated today.

TeriB19 08-09-2003 05:30 PM

If I don't tape my hubby's 'honey do' list to his forehead, nothing gets done. I left him a note on the front door the other day so that when he put his key in the door he'd see the note to put out the recycling. He flipped up the note, put the key in the door, came in and went to sleep. No recycling went out that day.

hotforscott 08-09-2003 05:53 PM

LMAO, Teri. It's a wonder what they'd do without us.

GoodGodGirl23 08-09-2003 07:08 PM

:P

hotforscott 08-09-2003 07:16 PM

According to our last couple of posts, this should be the 20 word thread, LOL! ;)

Back to one word, sort of, I am well-rested.
