Will it be Creed, as in the whole band, or will it only be Stapp who contributes songs?

My guess is that it's going to be Stapp's new stuff, but i could be wrong.

They didn't say, but here's my take on it. First off, the songs will not appear in the actual movie, but on this inspired album which is seperate from the original score album. I'm guessing it's just Scott, but I think it could be entirely possible if the whole band was to get together to record some songs for the album. Right now, however, I'm just expected some new songs from Scott.

April, acutally ;)

Zombieguide has exclusively learned today that Universal South plans to release the "Music Inspired by The Passion of the Christ" soundtrack on April 6th, 2004. The listing appeared this week on Universal Music's Business-to-Business-only website under the tentative title "The Passion of the Christ Soundtrack." However, it is expected that Universal South will change the title as to avoid confusion with the film's score, which is released on February 24th. The album is expected to contain songs by The Cranberries' Dolores O'Riordan, David Hodges, Ben Moody, Creed's Scott Stapp, and Beyonce Knowles (rumored).

Yeah, I know. I was just putting down what the news said, but it will probably just be Stapp and Ben solo songs.

No hell not Marc!! Bennie-nator is doing his own solo. I think Stapp will play guitar himself and that Lenny Kravitz will play bass. As you might know Stapp said to MTV that we've been talking to Lenny about playing bass on the album. And Lenny might know a drummer, 'cause Flip will be busy working with Mark.

Bridge of Clay 03-02-2004 09:50 PM

Dude, that's called joking!!!

Hmm... that's interesting. I went to David Hodges main page a couple days ago. He was the pianist for Evanescence and he stated on his site that Ben Moody (ex-Evanescence guitarist) and he had a song to be on the inspired album called "One King, One Man." It's not on the list either, and he had already put that song on the Discography list to the album on his site. I dunno, hopefully the list is not complete or something. We can hope.
