The "Homework Help" Thread!

If anyone needs help with homework, post your questions here for people to answer!

I'll start it off...
Subject: Physical Geology
1) The point on the Earth's surface opposite 52 degrees North latitude and 140 West longitude is what?
2) You are located at 10 degrees South latitude, 10 degrees East longitude. You travel 30 degrees north and 30 degrees East. What are your new geographical coordinates?
3) How in the hell do you make a topographic profile for a topographical map?

That's what I thought, but it's in the ocean somewhere. I'm not sure if our professor wants a location or just the numbers.

Don't have one. Can't find one. Supposed to do it by hand.

This would be a lot easier if I had an atlas. But I don't.

what's a topographic profile, anyway? i know what a top. map is.
and i would assume that your prof is just looking for the coordinates, b/c he/she is asking for the point on the earth's surface, not a particularly location
