Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
 

Rockstar Games and Rockstar North have JUST released the first pics from the upcoming GTA game. It's called San Andreas and this time you are wisiting San Francisco. The game will be released in October. Here's a link to the site and the new pictures.

There's rumos saying that GTA 4 (also called "Online Crime") may be released later this year. The reason it is called "Online Crime" is because it's a BIG multi-player game. And everyone who buy it play in a big town (problably L.A.) where every single person on the street is a player. Rumos are also saying that Online Crime may be released October/November 2004, which sounds strange to me... Why would they release San Andreas and Online Crime at the same time? We'll have to see. No one really knows anything about this GTA 4 "Online Crime", just that Rockstart have been talking about it.

I'm not a GTA-freak, but I have Vice City, and love it. I visited a swedish fansite to GTA and found out about all this. It's great i think.

By the way, the US release is October 19 and the European release is October 22. But it's only released to Playstation, because Rockstar Games and Sony have a deal, of some kind. It will be released to PC, X-Box, (and maybe Game Cube, who knows), later.

i'm eagerly awaiting the PC release... GTA III and IV are fucking awesome (downloaded 'em in the past month).... i've never been big on PC games, but at least Vice City is better on PC than PS2

Vice City is mouth more fun than the 3th. On VC you can go with motorbike, helicopter, airplain, and of course cars and boats. And you can also write the cheat "SEAWAYS". Then your car will drive on water! Nice! :D

is it supposed to be set in LA, or what? b/c Vice City is definitely Miami, and Liberty City reminds me sort of San Francisco (or maybe, NYC, w/ lots of hills)

"pretends to be real", maybe back in the old days (pre 1980s), when wrestlers didn't break "kayfabe". Welcome to the year 2004, it's Sports-ENTERTAINMENT. WWE stands for World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT. Taking bumps in the ring does hurt and the life of a wrestler is grueling, but Vince McMahon isn't trying to pass off an episode of Monday Night Raw as "real life events". It's a show, just like Friends or NYPD Blue. There are characters and storylines. Wrestlers are performers and their job is to entertain the fans of WWE.

I don't like the storyline too much. It's too "gangsta" for my taste. It's a certain that the radio will suck since it will probably be all gangster rap.

Wrestling is fake, no doubt about that. Since you have a lot of stupid people that think they have every right to imitate what they see on TV, the storylines have taken a drastic turn to the cartoonish side. Albeit the storylines are fake, those hits they take are real. I dont see how its physically possible to fake a 30 foot fall.

GTA 3 was based in a modern mafia style New York.

Vice City is based off Scarface. Thats why it has a striking resemblance to Miami.

San Andreas is based in 90's culture in Los Angles.
