Aaron Lewis' solo show

Aaron Lewis recently performed a solo show. I don't think he has solo material (i'm not an expert) so I guess he performed Staind material but he also performed a few covers. These covers include a few Alice in Chains songs (not sure which ones) and a few Pearl Jam songs. The PJ songs he covered were Black, Elderly Women in a Counter in a Small Town and Indifference. Even if you are not a Lewis fan you have to give some credit to paying kudos to two of the great bands of the 90's.

When was this show, Hide? I like Staind's first album, but not much after that. I know Aaron Lewis is a big AIC fan :D.

not exactly sure but this info was posted by someone from the PJ board only a couple of days ago. So a week ago at the most I guess....yes Lewis is a big AIC you can see it in some of his lyrics in the last album. For instance "If someone showed you the way, would you take the wheel and steer" obviously comes from " I can feel the wheel, but I can't steer". I haven't got any mp3's of this performance although I do like his cover of Black.

I just wish they got away from this "nu-metal" style music (they have done so a little) and sound less and less like Korn and others. Mike how bout a couple of solos?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the nu-metal stuff...I'll have to download some of those covers :D.
