what if...

... pearl jam actually decides to do a creed cover? What creed song would be a good one for PJ to do?

DangerousDan85 02-04-2003 07:23 PM

it would never happen

Oh I don't know, I think it would actually be kinda kewl! I mean Creed did do a cover for them, why not the other way around? Maybe then people can say Pearl Jam sounds like Creed.

Or am I thinking of the cover to the Doors song? Ack, too many songs.

Edit: To stick to the subject...
Given Pearl Jam's slower tunes, I think they'd sound okay with a slower Creed song. Maybe "Inside Us All" or "Pity For A Dime." Nothing from Creed's Weathered cd though...

DangerousDan85 02-04-2003 09:28 PM

i don't think they have covered any Pearl Jam

You're right, I just went to look it up and I was thinking of the Doors.

PJ would never cover creed. That's a fact. I heard Vedder talking negativly about creed, so go figure.

Dogstar 02-05-2003 12:31 AM

I downloaded what purports to be a Creed cover of Jeremy. If it's legit, it's probably from their really early days.

Redeemer 02-05-2003 09:40 AM

Ooh, Dogstar, a Creed cover of *Jeremy*?!?! That should be stellar.
I agree w/FlameBird about PFaD. I think Vedder would do a great job w/that song. But I also agree with Dan...PJ would never do it. :dunno: Oh, well.

I don't think it should happen. Pearl Jam isn't as good as Creed, and I don't want a Creed song ruined for me because they covered it.
