chris daughty did "what if" by creed. imo he wasent very good. he kind of got bashed by simon to. but it was good to here creed on idol tho.

Yeah, I just saw it and I have to disagree with you. I thought it was a pretty good performance. Sure he didn't capture the angst of Stapp, but he did add a somewhat melodic touch to it. I just like the fact that he said "What If" was his favorite song. And screw Simon Cowell.

I loved it. It showed the people who hated Creed how good many of their songs are if you take Stapp out of the equation.

Alot of Live fans are really pissed at the guy....they say he copied Ed's singing style when he sang Cash's Walk the Line.

This is the first time I watched AI this season, a whole episode, and I was like, whoa that's creed. Rockin'. I like Chris, he's probably my fav to win, just cause he actually brings the rock. I don't think that was the best Creed song for him. I did however like the version of Walk the Line he did, and he shouldn't be catching any flak for it, cause AI is a freaking karaoke show. All they do is go out and sing other peoples songs. It's a joke.

i thought chris said that it was live's version the night he sang it? wouldn't it then be the judges fault for saying it was his version?
