I already said I disagree with what Stapp did, and I disagree with the suit too. A make-up concert, though, would be good for the band´s image and to settle things down. I agree when you say JHMP failed and have been failing... but now it´s gone, you can´t turn back time. And needless to say, but why now if th concert was 4 months ago?

Let´s give the band a break and see what they´ll do when they come back.

As far as Creed goes, they are in a unique position to show the world how good of people they are. They need to make retribution in some form because no matter who doesn't like it, this incident is not being forgotten. It is a sticky situation because if they admit wrong-doing they open themselves up to being found guilty in court and that could potencially destroy them.
But as many people have said before me they need to do SOMETHING!! This lawsuit is like a gun cocked ready to fire with the concert goers fingers on the trigger....

Rob, you are guilty of exactly what you accuse the members here of, not to mention blatant sexism. The members whom you are accusing of being ruled by their emotions are mostly women. I find that reprehensible and narrow-minded on your part.

Your emotions are blinding you from seeing that a number of us absolutely agree that what Scott did was wrong, and that most of us thought a free show or a refund and an apology would be in order. What you fail to see is that we mostly disagree that a lawsuit is the answer for assuaging the fans' ire. If you really think the band or Scott is going to issue a public apology now that a lawsuit has been filed, then you are not living in reality. If anything, his lawyers have probably told him to button up until this whole thing is over.

His point was: if someone you care about will do something bad you will try to come up with exuses, or at least be more linient to that person, than you would be to a perfect stranger. Your judgment will be tainted. That is the case with you guys.
