I am hoping to get to hear Alterbridges first single this week, I will do my best to describe it to anyone thats interested.

Mark is an extreme shredder,much more then people know,since Mark is in charge of the project I am betting on some really cool guitar stuff.I hope live we will get some double ax attacks since one of Myles nicknames is the blur.I think he is very focused on vocals now though.This band has alot of talent, thats one reason I am here now.I actually have been checking this site earlier, just never posted.

"The Blur" LOL he is a good lead guitarist from what i have heard! the solo in "I Believe" would have to be in the same league as the one in "Stand Here with Me". a double axe attack would be fantastic but as you said his vocals is the priority considering he was recruited as a singer first and foremost.

another important thing is that Myles and Mark dont seem to have a problem writing together, there will be lots of material to choose from for the cd.They seem to really like each other too, so I think its a great enviroment for some really good music to come out of!

cool! I just hope we get the chance to hear all the tracks, and not only those on the album

yeah, and I hope the right people get to pick the songs going on the cd!

They could ask it to me, I'be so happy to help them!!! I should get something for being their first Brazilian fan!!! And they know I'm a dedicated fan that never got the chance to see them live... :(

According to Myles, half of the songs were already written when he joined the band. He had input on the other half.

Just a note... altered couldn't be Mark... didn't Mark say in an interview once that he was "computer illeterate." Or was that Scott Stapp? Just trying to remember that... heh :)
