My long but amazing weekend!
 

I'm not sure if I mentioned this to anyone, but my sister and her fiance got married on Saturday We had a long weekend, getting this ready, buying flowers, getting gifts, and pulling things together. The ceremony was small but turned out beautifully. I was the maid of honor and then my sister's best friend from highschool was her other bridesmaid. Jim (her fiance and now husband) had 2 groomsmen. The reception was at a small but nice restaurant not to far from where the wedding was held.I got to ride in a limo for the first time as well:) They served this really awesome chicken and the other choice was a sirloin cut, with salad, steamed vegetables, bread, and then of course the cake. I had 2 pieces of cake,lol. Everything went well and those who didn't like eachother were being civil, that is untill we were all loading up to get ready to leave and mom decided to rip dad a new bunghole about stuff and they got into a screaming fight outside the reception hall (sigh) I don't know why people think they need to start crap on a speciall ocassion :rollseyes:

WHEW! I'm glad all went well for the most part, Julie. At least she waited until everything was over ;). I'm glad you had a nice time. Congratulations to your sister and her new hubby. You'll have to post some pics. I'll bet you looked great all dressed up :D.

Oh you know it Kerri! I looked HOT!!! Hahaha! As far as the fight goes, there can be a time and a place for that kind of thing but my sister's wedding day shouldn't have been chosen for that day;)

I'll post pics whenever I get some. I didn't have a camera so I have to wait untill they get them developed.

Yeah, I hear ya. Some people just can't hold back, I guess. They pick the worst times to pull stuff. Cool on the pics. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

I would like to have what used to be a normal spring: 70s and dry for the month of May. It's been feeling like July lately!

Yeah, 92 here today and my AC STILL doesn't work. If I don't get some satisfaction soon, I'm going to raise holy hell with the owner of my apartment complex. I have had it. This stupid new unit has not worked right since it was installed.
