What is going to be the name for the CD that Scott's gonna be on for the Passion of the Christ inspired stuff? Does anyone know? :)

Scott's music is not going to be on the CD that is coming out April 6. The CD is called Songs Inspired by The Passion of the Christ. Here is the link for the CD that is coming out:

Now my calender's all marked up with the countdown until April 6th, and Scott won't even be on it!

Wrong Info released On The Passion Of The Christ Artist Soundtrack


No Stapp, Cranberries, Moody, or Beyonce.

Apparently, a LOT of people recieved wrong information on what artists were going to be on The Passion Of The Christ song soundtrack, released April 6th. I just checked on the official 'Passion' website and i saw the list of artists on the track, and i did not see Scott Stapp's, Beyonce's, Ben Moody's, or The Cranberries name on it. I sent an email to Newmarket films and Icon Production asking what's going on, and they said people were misinformed. Gibson actually was considering adding these artists, but decided to let the album have a somewhat mellow pace and put together an album that " would honor the emotion and journey we take in experiencing the film". It kinda stinks because I personally was looking forward to hearing some samples of what Scott Stapp's solo album would sound like. Oh well. Here is the list of artists that will be on The Passion Of The Christ song soundtrack, and some great are on here including Bob Dylan, who once said " You may think your a rebel. But let me tell you something: you aint no rebel until you rebel against the devil."

I didn't know that. Far out, that's a shame. :( Never mind though

Thanks for the story Shadow! It's good to FINALLY get the true story. It sucks that the album isn't going to be good, though. And by that, I mean, as good as it could be.
