The Goodbye Affect ©2004

Up against the moonlight sky
Where we both chose to die
There is a twinkle in your eye
That tells me we will have to say goodbye
You are gone away and Im so cold
One second gone by without you is agony
Pain that breaks apart my heart
You are so beautiful to me
My one and only
Without you Im a pile of blood and flesh
A puddle on the floor
I want to be there to catch your breath
And watch you as you soar
With your beautifully painted wings
I want to hold you
I dont want to know what it feels like to be alone
To wake up alone and cold
With no one to hold in my arms
So cruel is your touch to my skin
I crumble apart
Like Im breaking within
I melt when you kiss me
Im taken away when Im cuddled by you
I want to feel your heart beat next to mine
Because when I do I leave this world behind.
