Still in Jerry mode -- What It Takes

Sincirr 01-29-2004 08:32 PM

weeeeeeeeeeeeeelllll if u insist...........

I didnt get to meet him or anything, but I was front row at one of their concerts in front of Kirk (cos hes da coolest) and he was giving me heaps of eye contact and hes my hero which was just blowing me away. He comes up and...u know that thing in cliff em all where he points the head of the guitar at someone, that night they grabbed it, but anyways, HE DID IT TO MEEEEE!!!!! I was just sooooo happpyyyy!!

And One of their older songs was playing and i was rockin out and i looked up and lars was just watching me goin yeeeeahhh!!!! OMG! LARS!

And then during Nothing Else Matters, Kirk was away from his pedals right, and he switched from distortion to clean without goin anywhere near them. He looked at me, for the millionth time, lol, and I went, "How did U do that!!!!" and he sorta did this aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh face, he wasnt givin away any secrets, and he kept playin, hehe. I just thought that was so amazing, cos I was the hugest fan of him at the time.

The night after that I was in the snake pit and Lars remembered me from the night before, and when they started the old songs, he looked down as if 2 say, "R U ready?" Goin ooooofff!!! And I got a drumstick!!!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!

Thats my story.

Dogstar 01-29-2004 08:35 PM

That is AWESOME, Sincirr! Good for you! It's cool when there is such neat bonding between the audience and the performers. I love that.

He probably had a tech in the back that does it for him if he gets away from his pedalboard... or... he might have A/B switches set up in a few places on the stage... cuz i know he often walks around... so it's probably one of the two...
