i hired Some Kind of Monster a couple of weeks back and I didn't know whether to laugh or shake my head in disbelief lol. Hetfield and Ulrich were carrying on like a bunch of 5 year olds.

Kirk: I'm not working after 4pm blah blah blah
Lars: Kirk wants to control everything and I'm going to sell my paintings blah blah blah

LOL

and poor Kirk is left as the only normal one along with Bob Rock trying to keep things moving. I'ld join PJ's 10 Club but considering PJ only come here every 5 or 6 years its probably not worth it.

Wow, I love SKOM. I thought it was interesting to watch the coming together of the album through all of that, too. I like all the stuff about the music and the production and the writing, and the recording sessions. It was kind of like an insider's view. The extras on the DVD are pretty cool, too.

no please don't misunderstand me i liked SKOM, it was great entertainment. it was funny to see a bunch of middle aged men not quite acting their age lol. it was interesting to see how their management basically making them do some dodgy radio interview led to some of kirk's lyrics on the album.

Well, most rock stars live in a different world where they are used to getting what they want. And most of them don't really grow up, I guess. I just found the whole thing a really interesting look at the dynamics of creating music.

w00t! I got NIN tickets for 11/3/05 at Madison Square Garden! Now, I just hope I can get the night off, hahaha...They are nosebleed seats, but I don't care. I'm so hoping they do more of With_Teeth! I'm going to try to go to the Philly and Albany shows as well.

Did anyone see Trent's performance of Hurt and a new song called Non-entity during the hurricane relief concert last night? That had to be one of the best performances of Hurt that I have heard. Amazing. And I really liked the new song.
