Mark's JCS song "Strange"
 

Hey guys, i managed to get my hands on a copy of the song "Strange" that mark wrote for Jimmie's Chicken Shack....i'll post lyrics shortly...

alright, here they are....i have written them to the best of my hearing ability...and all in all, i'm not a fan of the song and i hope that Tremonti has some better stuff for us on his solo album...

I just wanted to let you all know that those are Jimmy's lyrics, not Marks. That song is 95% Jimmy's, Mark just helped him come up with the melodys for the chorus.

Thanks Michael. I was just going to post that according to that news article that says Tremonti helped pen that song... it doesn't say he penned the lyrics. I was going to say he probably helped with the musical portion of the song.

I thought the lyrics were pretty good...people are strange when you're a stranger...a stranger in a strange land...that idea is in a lot of places, the Bible for one... we all want to be happy and play but life won't let you....

This song is more upbeat than most, talking in terms of "we"...you can stand anything when you are not alone...

Of course the music will make all the difference...

I wanted to add that I hope for great success for everyone ever connected with Creed in any way...but my heart belongs to Stapp...who to blame, I can't think about that, I just know how much I have loved him.

thanks michael...from what i'd heard it was mark's writing, so thats what i took it as...glad you cleared that up..sorry for the comotion guys...i have the mp3 here with me...except i don't have a place to post it...if anyone has an ftp or something for me to put it on i'd be glad to. Thanks.
