No, but what does it matter? First: the song will be released tomorrow. Secound: Tremonti.net had almost all songs (full versions) of SubmerseD up awhile ago.

The "Complicated" version of The Punisher is probably of better quality and should have some improvements to it. The songs on tremont.net were demo songs.

Yeah I know that. Anyway... I've heard the newer version of Complicated too. (Downloaded it). And sure; it's a batter version.

Have you listened to Smile Empty Soul - Finding Me? It rocks!

I'll make sure to listen to both songs once I get the album on Tuesday. ;)

The Lithium 03-22-2004 05:13 AM

Yeah, but the site looks great. And the SubmerseD Mini-Site is still up. Just without the demos.

Haha, I had to read some chapters to the book The Odyssey. Man, there at Sweden it's early in the morning, while here in America, it's late at night. Well, I'm going to sleep now.

Do you call 11:26 AM early? Man, when do you go to school?

Dogstar 03-22-2004 01:34 PM

I am SO at the record store tomorrow. CAN'T WAIT. I'm dying to hear the Damageplan/Jerry Cantrell collaboration. Some of my Jerry fan friends have heard it and say it's fantastic. Plus, the SubmerseD and QOTSA stuff. Yeeee-haaaaaa!

I have to be at school at 7:45 AM. I only said it was early because compared to what time it was when I was posting, it was early.

Rick Rubin's peace compilation feat. Audioslave, Chilli Peppers etc:
Pearl Jam(probably late in the year)

I doubt Pearl Jam's album is going to be released this year. It normally takes 2 years to make an album, but when a band releases a b-sides album or greatest hits album, it adds another year for the next studio album. Since Pearl Jam released their last album in 2002, and they released the Lost Dogs b-sides album in 2003, their forthcoming album will be released in 2005. I can't wait, though!

Could you please tell me more about this project?

Dogstar 03-23-2004 11:16 PM

OMFG!!!! The Damageplan/Jerry Cantrell song is AMAZING...Heavy, heavy, heavy riffage. It sounds like a bomb going off in the beginning. The vocals on both are terrific!!!! The SubmerseD song is awesome, too. I haven't heard the whole album yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it. It's got Chevelle and QOTSA, Seether....and a couple of groups I don't know, but will be sure to check out.

Trees of Wisdom 03-23-2004 11:52 PM

I am pissed! I went to Circuit City, Tower Records, and K-Mart and The Punisher soudtrack wasn't there! :mad1: How I hate Orange County! They always have the loser rap artists' cd's in stock on the release date, but when it's an amazing album like the Punisher soundtrack, it isn't in stock! :mad1:

Dogstar 03-24-2004 12:32 AM

Oh, man, that SUCKS, Trees of Wisdom. I got mine at Sam Goody. They had about 8 of them, and they were $14.99, which wasn't too hard on the old wallet. If you have one near you, give them a call and check to see if they have it. This is one of the better soundtracks to come out in a while!

How is the "Complicated"? Is it longer or better sounding than the demo version? Also, how is Ben Moody's song?

The Lithium 03-24-2004 03:27 AM

Fucking bad news guys!! Punisher WON'T be released in Europe!! At least not in Sweden. Daredevil didn't do very well in Sweden and Sony Music don't want to take the chance with Punisher... Guess I'll have to download it.

What about Scott Stapp solo and Seven Wiser? Gonna gick ass!!

Mr.Anderson 03-24-2004 08:10 AM

Man I'm so happy with this soundtrack. All great rock songs and not one rap song. Each song is unique and pretty damn catchy after you listen to them a couple of times. This soundtrack won't be leaving my cd player for awhile.

Dogstar 03-24-2004 12:00 PM

I never heard the demo version of Complicated, so I really can't compare, but I like the song a lot. I'm not a big Evanescence fan, so the Ben Moody song didn't do much for me. In fact, it's one of my least favorites. It kind of sounds like everything else out there...Some melody, some screaming. Screaming's OK if it's done right and not just thrown in there. I don't know if Ben's doing the singing or if it's Jason Miller or Jason "Gong" Jones...I don't know those other two guys.

Gong is the new lead singer of Drowning Pool. I've started to download it, so far I have:

• Drowning Pool - Step Up
• Egdewater - Eyes Wired Shut
• Seether feat. Amy Lee - Broken
• Nickelback - Slow Motion
• Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical
• SubmerseD - Complicated

The new Complicated is better than the demo version, but it's the same song. Remember that. Don't expect too much, it's the same song... But BETTER! :jam:

Dogstar 03-24-2004 12:27 PM

Thanks, Lith. I didn't know that. I'm listening to the QOTSA song right now. They so rock. I love them!!! I liked the Drowning Pool song, too. I'm sorry the album won't be coming your way, Lith. Maybe they will change their minds.

They won't. We're talking about Sony Music here. They make a lot of money anyway! They've said that they will only release Submersed, Seven Wiser and Edgewater if they make it big in US. But I'm sure they will. We have Creed, Drowning Pool, 12 Stones, Evanescence, Seether, Finger Eleven, etc, etc. I have not checked if we have every Wind-up artist, but at least we have a lot. And as you might feel too, I want the Submersed album SO BAD!! But I guess I'll have to download it first, 'cause it might take awhile untill I actually can buy it here, but when the release-date is up, I'm right there at the CD-store! And I have faith in them. And so has Mark.

Yeah, they kinda have to... But I'm not worried. I have so much faith in this guys, they're just gonna blow the world away. "You Run" will be the first single and, man... That's more than just good music! They will kick SO much ass!!

By the way... I downloaded something I think QOTSA, but I'm not sure. Does it goes like: "I think I'd like you better if we slept together"?

I usually get my CDs from Target or Best Buy, b/c I work @ Target, so I get 'em w/ my discount... and Best Buy has quite the selection, all at excellent prices (hella cheaper than mall shops like Sam Goody). Streetside Records ain't too shabby either.
