US Elections '04

For whom do you plan on voting in the upcoming November election?

RMadd 09-13-2004 12:02 AM

i guess my choice is pretty obvious

dekand 09-13-2004 03:26 AM

The choice should be obvious to anyone, its not even a race in my opinion.

Whoever would vote for John Kerry is truely an idiot. And i say that with the utmost respect and confidence. Anyone who actually knows anything about politics wouldn't vote for John Kerry.

yeah, basically you have to pick who's the less worse of them... lol

I'll try to find the article on BBC... they made a survey in 15 countries, and 13 of them would pick Kerry for president if they were Americans...

that's an interesting read, nonetheless.

RMadd 09-13-2004 10:25 AM

the reason Kerry has so many supporters is not because they necessarily think he's a great guy and all, but because he's not Bush, plain and simple. it's unfortunate, but who needs a defined moral compass, anyway? i sure as hell hope Kerry isn't elected b/c this country will go to hell in a handbasket reaaaaaaaaal quick.

Bridge of Clay 09-13-2004 11:58 AM

they like him coz he's not Bush. Doesn't it tell something about Bush?

I think the one who went to war is less worse than the one who paid to don't go to war coz daddy was rich.

Xterminator27 09-13-2004 05:24 PM

Their war records have nothing to do with this campaign. Kerry shouldn't have started promoting himself as a Vietnam vet. The Swiftboat guys shouldn't have been allowed to release their ad. And now that stupid false CBS report shouldn't have been talked about either. It's stupidity.

As far as the rest of the world - sure they can have an opinion, but they don't live in the same society as Americans. They have different governmental policies. Their views are biased from the get-go.

And aside from all these arguments, Kerry has publicly said that knowing everything he knows now, he would have still voted to go to war. So where's the difference?

true dat
Bush isn't as incompetent as people think he is. Sure he has an average IQ, but it's shows like Letterman, Leno, SNL, the Daily Show, etc, that make Bush seem more dumb than he really is. and if our government is "by the people, for the people", do you really want an out-of-touch, Ivy League snob (as opposed to an Ivy League "nitwit") running the country?

creedsister 09-13-2004 10:03 PM
