Yeah, that was a great movie. Mary Tyler Moore sure played a different role in that movie than on her show, huh?

Dogstar 03-30-2003 07:59 PM

Yes, she sure did! And pretty well, I might add. She was really believable.

Kim V. 03-30-2003 08:40 PM

Movies: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Gremlins
Music: Culture Club, Wham, Journey, Styx, Madonna, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Rush
Trends: Big Sprayed-up Hair, Big Belts, Designer Jeans, Acid Washed Jeans, Shoulder Pads, Turned-up collars, Parachute Pants

This was fun; aahh the memories! Some things I'm sure I forgot, I'm startin' to feel old, thinking about stuff from the early to mid-eighties!!

TeriB19 03-30-2003 09:20 PM

I forgot all about shoulder pads!!! I was NEVER without shoulder pads. I looked like a fullback all the time but I looked so damn cool!! Can't believe I left off Culture Club and the Eurythmics and any of the Indiana Jones movies!!

Dogstar, I have to laugh. I saw Grease about 150 times in one month. It was back when HBO was first starting out and they would show the same movies over and over and over. In one weekend I watched it 6 times alone. Also, Bohemian Rhapsody, we remember that when it ORIGINALLY came out. The younger set all thought that was originally done for the Wayne's World soundtrack. I remember all the kids running out to buy that "cool new song, Bohemian Rhapsody" when Wayne's World came out.
