Wasn't it announced, awhile ago, that it would be released in Spring?

Thats soo cool!! My daughter called me a few hours ago to tell me the news. She had also gotten an e-mail, she signed up on the 12 Stones web-site. We are going to see that show on the 26th. Some people had asked me if there was a new cd coming out and I hadn't heard anything about it then, but now we know!! Hopefully they'll play a few new songs at the show. I'm soo psyched! I can't wait to see them again!! :dancing:

I wonder why they parted ways with their bassist Kevin Dorr.

I don't know, but it kinda bummed me out!! When we saw them with Creed in Aug 2002, they were sooo great! And Kevin was soo fun to watch. He really got into it. Jumping up and down and gettin' crazy on the bass. I will really miss not seeing him at the show... :(

It's weird that ever since 12 Stones announced that Kevin Dorr parted ways with them, their forums aren't working.

What's the name of the new baseplayer, then?

They don't have a replacement for Kevin Dorr yet. They did record their 2nd album with him. And when you look in the website, any mentions of him have been erased. Weird, huh? Anyway, their touring bassist is Clint "The Claude" Amereno.

It's like Offspring's latest record "Splinter". When you check the booklet it says:

Vocals and Guitar - Dexter Holland
Guitar and Vocals - Noodles
Bass - Greg K

Hallo? Where's the drumms?? Sure there is drumms on the album, but not a single word about a drummer... Ron used to play drumms, but I guess we didn't wanted to anymore. Now Atom have joined the band officially and he's playing on their tour. (I saw them a few weekends ago. They rocked).

When 12 Stones' forthcoming album was announced, spring was when it was going to be released (no exact date, though). The official date is finally announced and that date is August 10. I can't wait!

Thats excellent news :D
I loved their first album, I can't wait till it comes out

Creed_Defaultgirl 03-18-2004 11:05 PM

I don't know if I like 12 stones or not, because I've never really heard any of their songs, so I don't want to buy a CD if I don't even know if I like the band. My friend said she would let me listen to her CD, so I might do that.
