Because he was different
His beauty was shunned

He lost more than he won
Because he was different
He’d never be free
Because he was different
He just didn’t see
That….
Because he was different
His soul was obsessed
Because he was different
He wasn’t his best
Because he was different
For his sins he’d atone
Because he was different
He’d reap what he’d sown
In the end
'Twas his difference
That mattered the most
In this romantic tale
Of the Opera Ghost...
