excuse me while i rant, this thread is like an episode of Seinfeld much a do about nothing. One of the DJ's Jackie was doing "Triple M rock news" when she said something like "In other rock news a man name here has been arrested for imitating Creed frontman Scott Stapp why you'ld want to I don't know but the man faces a possible two years in jail. He fraudently took about $1000 off some fans. In other Creed news, Creed are taking 12 months off while Scott prepares for his solo album."

Now what she said about Scott wasen't so flattering but at least get the name right there is more to the band then Stapp, the guy was trying to look like Mark Tremonti.

Okay this is the end of this episode of Seinfeld.

Yup, well, I'm stupid, let's just say they are stupid and lack common sense!

I haven't listened to triple m in ages, it doesn't look like I've missed anything :rolleyes: Nearly evertime they play a Creed song one of the DJ'S makes a smart arsed comment about Creed/Scott Stapp. I just get satisfaction in that alot of the djs there hate creed but their listeners love them so they are forced to play their songs.

This one radio station in Oklahoma city, ggggrrrr, oh it makes me so mad! They will play a CREED song, and right after they do, they ALWAYS play a pearl jam song! It's like they do it on purpose!!!!! I get so frusterated when they do!

Yeah I agree if they are gonna say something they could at least get the names right.

they play a Pearl Jam song right afterwards? that is not very nice but i got to admit that is kind of funny! Right on rain if your going to say something at least get your info right!

exactly but people probably from this board request Creed on that station and so they have to play them. Most of the DJ's still think they are a christian rock band. They did do a funny interview with Stapp though and they did seem a bit on awe of Creed.

You would think DJs would be enough of music fans to do a little research and realize Creed are not a Christian rock band. Alas, the misconceptions continue.
