Good News for my family
 

I was going to post this in the Prayer Request thread but I wanted more people to see it. I am pleased to say that my hubby was able to transfer to a different unit last month. His new unit drills on the same base but he's completely out of the old unit. On his first day with the new unit, they got word that his OLD unit will be recalled to active duty for a minimum of 6 months next January. Thank you all for your words of support and your prayers. We have another year and a half before he retires after 20 years, but we seemed to have dodged a bullet and I wanted to let you all know. Thank you guys!!! :hugs:

:hugs: :hugs: That's great news Teri! Now you don't have to worry about him being called away. WOW :wow: 20 years that's a long time. My uncle just retired last year with 30 years. You always have all our support and prayers girl. I'm soo glad it turned out the way it did! :hugs:

Teri, I'm so happy for you that your husband is safe. It must be very difficult for service people and their families, not knowing what the future will bring.

Thanks guys. We're not out of the woods yet, but at least for now he'll be home, safe and sound. Thank you for all your kind words and continued support.

Very cool Teri! That's awesome he was able to dodge out in the knick of time. Lucky lucky.

My uncle almost retired after 20 years, but during year 17/18 made the biggest mistake of his life. So he got a dishonorable discharge after 18 years and is currently rotting in a New York state prison. :D
