Your Stillbirth Eulogy

the beginning 5 lines is based on a psalm the rest isnt but the biblical truth is that we are born with a sinful nature that makes us dead and we either accept christ as our salvation or we accept the works that we can do (religion) or we denie christ exhists altogether . the bible is clear that we are dead in out transgressions and so there is nothing we can do to make us alive. can a corpse make itself alive. i dont think so.

Your stillbirth Eulogy

when your at your best
your walking in vanity
bringing your own destruction
what will be your security
storing up treasures
not knowing who will take it all
measuring holliness on a scale
thinking its tipped in your favor

you are stillborn
out of the womb and into the grave
you are stillborn
in your religious dogma passageway
but the door is closed at the end
who will be there to open it
who will breathe life into you
you're dead

when your at your best
your walking in vanity
blinded by your pride
to the answers of all
the questions that you seek
God has reaveled himself
in everything that you see
but you close your eyes to it
like a corpse in a coffin sleeps

you are stillborn
out of the womb and into the grave
you are stillborn
in your existential empty pathway
where your will is flawed to the end
who will be there break through it
who will breathe life into you
you're dead

heres your eulogy
you lived your life
as your own god

heres your eulogy
denied the christ
of his tree

heres your eulogy
you never saw
the breathe of life

is this how your story ends
before it even begins
who will breathe life into you
you're dead
