Dogstar 04-17-2005 09:05 PM

I'm not sure I can assault my ears with LB...:D...bleh.

JulieCitySlicker 04-17-2005 09:07 PM

Haha Kerri :D

Ed Wood 04-18-2005 01:56 AM

I really don't like them either, but give that song a shot. The guitar is fantastic, blew me away. Enough that I can "put up" with Fred Durst. :)

Trimontana 04-18-2005 06:21 AM

i have one of their album....Results May Vary....i used to like their music and in some way i still do. But not a fan who will go to a gig to see them.
The new song actually yep, remembered me Race Against The Machine :wtf:

aussiecreeder 04-18-2005 07:11 AM

the music sounds alright, good even (wes boreland can play) but am i only one who can't take fred's political message seriously. this is the guy remember who has faked having any sort of relationship with the likes of britney spears and the band who had an album titled chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavoured water.

JulieCitySlicker 04-18-2005 07:36 AM

I think hearing freds voice might give me a migraine  :)

LOL Julie

the intro was fucking brilliant (sounded quite a bit like Rage lol), and then Durst starts "singing"... kudos to the rest of the band for not completely sucking

Ed Wood 04-18-2005 12:50 PM

It's weird, cause Durst has said that it's not political. He's said he was inspired by Rage's passion and the mood of their music, so I think the message is more thematic than political. And a rip-off.

But the riff kicks ass.

to me it sounds as if limp bizkit are just another band jumping on the "political bandwagon" for the kids. it sounds fairly political to me but fred would know better lol. so are RATM going to sue? :p

As much as it pains me to do this... I have to give them props on this song. It is a tight song.
