I think the most important thing everyone should understand in this news is the phrase "SIDE PROJECT", thus taking nothing away from CREED. I believe this is merely a side project, Tremonti solo project, or whatever you want to call it. Scott Stapp will do his project, and this is Flip and Mark's project.

I sure hope you're right!

It is amazing how words can be used to manipulate. We all hope it is a side project, but do we honestly think it is?

I'm certainly not going to wear blinders ... something is definitely wrong.

We've known for a while that Mark was doing some solo stuff. Maybe it was originally intended to be a side project but then things weren't moving along with Creed so it became the main focus.

I would guess that Creed wasn't moving along due to some sort of "issues" ... not just because they want to try other things.

In my heart I do believe that Scott has some things to straighten out. Who knows, maybe he just wasn't ready yet ... or maybe he is going a bit wacky. If time off with heal him, than great!

Hopefully, even if the current road is not looking too promising for Creed (I do believe that *right now* that is the case), I will continue to hope that eventually they will patch things up. It may be a while before we see them together again ... but I can't believe that this is the end permanently.

Just my opinion.

i'm totally behind solo projects....i only hope down the road there will still be CREED. from your mind to God's ears, creedlvr!

whatever they have decided to do with their careers, it will be awesome. i know /I/ will follow them both and support them totally. although 'creed' is apparantly on hold, im excited to see what their individual minds have planned.

Oh how quickly life can turn around, in an instant....

Creed here one day... gone the next....although the truth is we all saw it coming. .But like creedlvr and so many of the rest of you, I know they will be back.

None of us knows what life holds and this sure isn't something the guys planned.

Shit happens though and ppl have to deal with it. So the band members are all dealing with it and we love them all and will support them.

I know Scott will heal, No way someone who wrote all those songs is gonna get buried by life. Time is what he need, and love if he can find it. How much time? no way to know. But we'll be here, no matter when.

And how quickly life can turn around in an instant....
Now we just wait and pray and enjoy what they give us in the meantime.
until that instant comes.

Things could obviously be better there must be some sort of issue between Scott and the others, for what else could explain this? Anyhow I support the guys 100% and will be buying both cd's no matter what. Mark may end up writing all the lyrics as well as music depending on the singer they can find.

There's no issue.

Stapp wishes to touch other projects, persue some acting,as he said before. He wants to slow down with music for his own personal reasons. He's still friends with the rest of the band, but Mark and Flip need to play and work while Stapp is away.

With time, healing comes. Then we'll see Creed back! And look the bright side: we can have a 4th album with Brian Marshall again!
