Van halen

I just got their greatest hits volume 1 and it kicks. Funny, I was never really a fan of em until now and eddie was a real guitar prodogy. Humans being kicks some serious ass with the killer guitar solo in it.

I prefer the David Lee Roth of VH... nothing wrong w/ Sammy, but Diamond Dave is just that much better

Yep , David Lee Roth = best VH. Cant beat the original lineup

Re: Van halen

I thought David Lee Roth was an extremely charismatic singer and a hell of a frontman. But personally, I thought he had an ego the size of the pacific ocean and generally thought he was a dick. However, hagar is a guy who seems less hung on himself and he could belt out some very impressive vocals and I think that pushed van halens most anthemic tunes, and some of the best anthems on rock.
