Who remembers Collective Soul? Yea...they're back with a new album titled Afterwards which is going to be released on Aug 28th only through Target and iTunes which I think is kind of weird. I especially like buying cds because I get the actual cd case and the artwork. My friend who works at umg and I especially like their new song Hollywood which is currently being played on their Myspace page at www.myspace.com/collectivesoul.

I heard something on the radio and couldn't figure out what it was then the dj said it was Collective Soul. I only heard probably the last few seconds of it. Hopefully I'll hear the whole thing soon.

Hmmmm... that explains why they've had a 15- or 30-sec slot on our satellite feed @ work, even though i hadn't heard anything about an album releasing yet.

On a related note, does anyone else find it annoying when (I'm assuming it's arranged between the record labels and particular retailers) 8 different stores carry 8 different special editions featuring a handful of bonus tracks added in different configurations depending on the store? I noticed this when reading up on Switchfoot's latest album, Oh! Gravity on Wikipedia a few months back.

It must have been "Hollywood," I think that's the only song from the album right now that's getting some airplay.

Well the brewskys were cold n cheap n they did rock.. Emerson Hart the dude from Tonic opened who was good...It was a good show:)
