Way cool. Thanks for the heads-up.

Sheila63 05-17-2003 04:36 PM

That's very cool!! I wish I lived closer to that area.:(

JenRN 05-17-2003 06:51 PM

Holy crap are you serious??????:wow: If you are serious my butt is there for sure! I am off work that day, and would go for sure! Why is he coming to DC anyways?:D :D :D :D

JenRN 05-17-2003 07:00 PM

It would take me about 2 hours to get to this part of Maryland, I am going to have to find out more info on it. I wonder if there is a limit of people to get in etc... I would hate to drive that far in DC to find out they are only letting so many people in! Hmmmm....... this could be very fun! Anyone want to meet me there?

Dogstar 05-17-2003 07:03 PM

I'm thinking it about it, Jen. That's my first of six weeks of Friday/Saturday off this summer :D. But same deal. I don't want to drive all that way just to be shut out. But, if that does happen, we can always make a day of it :D.

JenRN 05-17-2003 07:05 PM

If you are serious let me know, maybe we can convince Teri to come too, we know how she feels about Mark!;)

hayley 05-17-2003 07:17 PM

That's really awesome, i'll be there for sure  I WISH :crying: :(

Sheila63 05-17-2003 07:41 PM

I'm off work that week after FL! I'd love to come down there and go with all of you!! I'll have to give it some thought, it would be a long ride for me. If I decide to go, could I join you?

Dogstar 05-17-2003 07:46 PM

Absolutely, Sheila!

Sheila63 05-17-2003 07:50 PM

Thanks, Dogstar.:)

Dogstar 05-17-2003 07:58 PM

You could stop at my house and we could drive together. I'm on the way :).

Sheila63 05-17-2003 08:06 PM

That's true, Dogstar. Thank you so much for the offer. :D I'm going to give it some serious thought over the next week or two so I'll let you and the others know. It would be a lot of fun!!

Dogstar 05-17-2003 08:32 PM

Me, too.

JenRN 05-17-2003 10:33 PM

Sheila I would hope by now you know you don't need to ask to go somewhere with us! OF COURSE YOU ARE WELCOME!:D :D :D I would love nothing more than to see you with us! I am going to have to do some investigating this week on this, give the place a call and find out some details!:)

Dogstar 05-17-2003 11:19 PM

Great, Jen. I checked their web site, but they didn't have anything posted, except for directions on how to get there. If this is for the general public, that would be cool.

Bridge of Clay 05-18-2003 12:15 AM

sorry to let you down, but Mark isnīt going anymore. Heīs coming to my house when heīll teache me some guitar. I just talked on the phone to him... ;) I wish!

TeriB19 05-18-2003 12:35 AM

Bummer!! And I was all set to make my arrangements!!

Seriously, I'd LOVE to go but I'll have to bring Damian and Satan along with me. That would definitely get Mark's attention. He'll think twice about having kids right away after he's seen my 'angels' in action.;)

Thanks so much, Jen.:D You guys are the best!! I just don't like to assume that it's okay until I ask. I appreciate you doing some investigating to find out more details.

Teri, I don't mind if you bring Damian and Satan along. They could make the trip very interesting!

Agent D 05-18-2003 10:19 AM

The Tremonti SE (the cheaper one) is a more affordable signature model from PRS. Itīs a copy of the Mark Tremonti model, the original one. Tremonti SE has different pick-ups and finish. It has dot inlays.

The Mark Tremonti model is the one Mark used and PRS made specially for him, and he asked for a single cut design. It has those famous bird inlays (on the frets), made of mother-pearl. It comes with a whammy bar (optional) and the black, silver or tribal finishes.

Check this links: http://www.prsguitars.com/news/tremonti_se.htm

Basically, the first one is for the fans and those who are learning how to play it. And the second one is for those who can actually play guitar.

lori87 05-20-2003 10:51 AM

Hmmmm....I'm from Maryland and still have family there. Maybe I should plan a visit. I wonder if someone not buying a guitar would be able to get to him?

JenRN 05-20-2003 11:01 AM

Lori, the way it is supposed to be is the first half hour is for those who have guitars for a "private signing" then it is a general meet and greet after that!:)

Agent D 05-20-2003 07:46 PM

The first thing I'd do if I met Mark is hug him!:P :)

DSDTonya 05-21-2003 08:24 AM

Hey Lori--if you are going-dont forget your ol buddy! LOL
I'll have to look into that more as well.

DangerousDan85 05-21-2003 04:30 PM

I have the Tremonti SE, but I live 13 hours from that place, so I obviously will not be in attendance.

Dogstar 05-21-2003 10:11 PM

Update: I can't go :(. My days off are still Monday/Tuesday that week because of Orlando...DOH! So I still have to work Friday/Saturday :(.

JenRN 05-22-2003 09:41 AM

Friday is my only day off, in a stretch of 4 12 hour shifts at the hospital, but you better bet your ass I am going to be there!;) I am sorry you can't go Kerrie:(

DangerousDan85 05-22-2003 11:12 AM

The only way I can go is if I can convince my dad to fly to Maryland with me. (highly unlikely). I don't think he's spontanious enough for this, but my argument is I have missed out on all the family vacations the past few years.

JenRN 05-22-2003 11:17 AM

Dan that would be so great for you, you really should ask him to do it! To have him sign your guitar, how awesome would that be!;)

DangerousDan85 05-22-2003 12:30 PM

I'll ask him, but I don't know if he'll do it w/ the Terror Alerts and stuff. I just wish the meet and great was in Memphis or Nashville.
