Seriously, because this sounds like possibly the most kinky Creed song that I've ever heard. I mean that, I just can't discern what it's about.

SK, like someone said, the true meaning is always what you want to make of it. So, if you want it kinky... just kidding.
Scott talks in many different ways about being broken and torn down (although Torn was written by Mark), so I doubt he was going for that meaning.:)

I thought Scott wrote My Own Prison and Torn. Watching the behind the music of Creed, you see that Scott wrote the lyrics in a notebook before Creed even started, and it sort of just made itself into a song.

Torn is a song that mark wrote in it's entirety...
Scott giving credit where credit is due.

From what I remember...mark supposedly wrote it about some girl...however IMHO Scott sure didn't sing it with that meaning.

The first verse appears to speak to suicidal tendencies. The second seems to be more about how fame isn't a very desirable thing. I don't think I've ever thought about it in a :naughty: way. I think :stapp:'s lyrics usually tend to be about these darker subjects. He seems to especially enjoy the dichotomy of freedom and imprisonment. But that's just my :2cents:.

I have read that Mark definately wrote some of Torn (Maybe all of or Torn)
and that Scott Wrote My Own Prison before creed even began, but it has been said that Mark may have written the chorus for MOP (SO I heald up high, (the bit he sings))

Yeah, what adparaiki wrote. Scott wrote most the songs on MOP, but I know for sure Mark wrote Torn.

Yeah, I've only heard it once, but it was kind of a heavier Creed song and it was pretty good from what I can remember.
