Killer interview. Many thanks!

Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
he suspects the alter bridge manager?
|
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
I'm sorry... you people can hate on me if you want, but Scott Stapp is a loser. I gave up on him along time ago.

Well I could have told you that... anyway... that was a good interview. It's nice hearing him sound optimistic... and it's interesting to hear about who he suspects. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
Is it just me or does he whine kind of like Corey Feldman?
He was talking about canceling a show in Houston and coming back the next week and there were even more people....like 35,000 or 47,000 (I think is what he said) and it was an outdoor "shed" type show.......He is talking about the Woodlands Pavilion. It only holds 15,000 MAXIMUM. I WAS a big Scott Stapp fan and always thought that he WAS Creed. I thought he was something different than the typical "rock star." Nowdays, I basically think he's a chump. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
yeah, AB's manager made him drunk and got him in anger... riiiiiiiiiiiiight. =/

Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
I think his suspicion might stem from the fact that Hanson(and maybe Tremo/rest of the band said it as well) said he had "enough on Stapp to end his career". That might have been referring to the tape, which WOULD be pretty damaging to Stapp's career if released. I know, I know, it's a bit of an assumption.....but if Hanson wouldn't have been so stupid as to say that, I wouldn't suspect him at all. And, since Hanson said that, I don't blame Stapp for suspecting that he is the one who released the tape in order to sabotage Stapp's career.
The tape was released at a perfect time for revenge, right after Stapp's wedding and arrest for public intoxication. In light of all that has happened in the last four months, why not release the tape and further damage Stapp's career? There was no time like the present....no better time to do it. The question is, if infact Hanson is responsible for the release of the tape(and I'm not saying he is, but given the fact that he was auctioning off Creed memoribila[like special plaques] and appeared to be getting a bit, well, hard up for cash, it would make sense that he'd sell this tape to Red Light in the hopes of getting a nice payoff) how did he get a hold of that tape? The possibilities are endless. Who knows. All I know is that Stapp's suspicions aren't that far-fetched(and, no, I haven't listened to this interview yet....I'm a bit too short on time to do that now), imo. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
but it seems Kiki leaked the tape.
and Hanson isn't AB's manager anymore, for a while. Now it's only Jeff Cameron handling management. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
Didn't you say(in a past thread) that Kiki, after being fired by Stapp, showed up on Hanson's doorstep asking for a job? If that was the case..maybe Kiki took the tape(to get some revenge for being fired), gave the tape to Hanson, who then, eventually, sold it to Red Light. It is entirely possible, which is why I doubt that Stapp is lying about it being "stolen".
And I know that Hanson quit managing AB last year(I remember reading a thread about it on here) so I know that AB had no involvement in this(and I wouldn't think they'd do such a thing, either) and I wasn't trying to blame them at all. I was only trying to say that Hanson may have done this. Who knows, though. |

Seriously titan, do you really believe that Stapp needs someone else to sabotages his... career? |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
No, he doesn't, but the release of a sex tape certainly doesn't help his career, now does it? :D All I'm saying is that I don't blame Stapp for suspecting Hanson. It seems to make perfect sense that Hanson is behind all of this.

It's just you... but yeah... a lot of evidence seems to point in Hanson's direction. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
I don't know what's more shocking. The accusation against AB's manager or that Stapp is a Dallas Cowboys fan.
|
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
well, that might be the case, it's possible. But the rumour is that Kiki himself sold the tape.
Besides... look at how many headlines and air time Stapp got cause of this tape. I believe it made more noise than back in November when his album was released. Truth be told, this tape is only driving more attention for him. |

But if Stapp had been drinking, but not doing anything special but be drunk, then it's kinda weird that AB's manager told the police\security people that Stapp had been crazy drunk. I see it as AB's manager lied to the security people about Stapp being drunk and angry just to hurt him. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
Alright, here it comes; the guys a jerk!! When will he ever take the falls for his own mistakes? It's always someone elses fault Scott, always! Geez...
Oh, and by the way... Who the hell is Kiki? |

Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
Hah, I knew someone would say that. I haven't spent much time on the board lately, but what I hear is that Kiki was Scott's personal trainer/manager...? And Stapp fired him for thinking he should get help with his alcohol problems? (I mean, when you fire somebody who says you've got to fix your problems, you've GOT problems! It's just another way of "working around them"/avoiding them).
|
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
hes got problems we kno, but he does say he screwed up at all the shows hes says i gotta change, but when ur that big/popular ur problems get blown out of proportion

I've hardly ever heard of it... Although I knew the Spirited Away director had made another film. I had no idea it was about Scott's manager.

so next time you go to the airport try and tell the security someone (pick randomly anyone you want) is drunk and anger. They won't do anything. UNLESS this person is causing trouble, yelling, offending the airline workers and other and when you approach this person, he/ she says he/she's a cop. |

Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but here's the deal:
Kiki was Mark's friend back when Creed started, and became good friends with Stapp, until Creed broke up and he took Stapp's side. He'd follow Stapp everywhere, you can see him behind Stapp in a lot of awards pictures, for example. Kiki, while Stapp became solo, started the personal assistant/ managing thing until he was fired... the reasons were already speculated one or 2 pages before. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
You know, I would have thought Hanson was smart enough not to make an incriminating remark like that. You really shouldn't make statements like that if you really are gonna try to destroy someone's career. Maybe he isn't as smart as people thought he was.
But we all know he said it...it came straight from Bridge of Clay's little file of "inside" information. |
Re: Scott calls The Bone in dallas
it's not "inside" information. It's public, it's on the net. Stop slacking and you'll find it.

I agree w/ you wholeheartedly. Scott seems to blame everyone else for HIS mistakes. The only thing he continues to throw into his interviews is that he's responsible for the creation of Creed; give me a break! Some people are like sheep and believe his lies. He's the rock and roll version of Jimmy Swaggart. |
