I didnīt know that... I recorded only 30 sec clips :( that sucks you can try cool edit pro too |
Well, now you know it:):D
|
the idea is to do it for free lol.
i use the creative recorder and my friend burned me an editor that let's me convert the wave files into mp3 files so i can post them and keep them small |
Cool Edit Pro records really weird, there is a lot of destorsation (when playing a acoustic), and its just static on a electric. I just use a mic too, plugged into my computer. I think I'll try out that program Rune.

Hey there Rune. We haven't really met. Welcome to CreedFeed. I see you've made yourself at home, and the world is just as it should be here. Speaking of recording equipment, I was wondering if any of you can give me any suggestions. I have a PC and I want to record myself reading a book and then burn it onto a CD that can be copied. It is a very long story, and will likely take up two CD's. I do not need any visual capabilities (Although it would be cool to get a document file on there somewhere). The trick is this, I want to have chapters, like on a DVD. Or tracks so that the listener can access any chapter instantly. What do you think?
|
That would be easy
|
wow..... you people suck... lol
i have sound blaster audigy 2 sound card Pro Tools Pro Cool Edit Pro theres an adapter that goes on the end of your instrument cable (very cheap) just plug that into the Audio-In port and hit record on yer software. just make sure to select Audio-In Line on yer mic settings, otherwise nothing gets recorded! |
Mullet-
You have effing PROTOOLS?! What do you need with that *she purrs* my new best friend (again). -Amy |
lol
i use pro tools to mess around with some of my personal recording and alot of my bootlegs *perfectionist* there is a free version of Pro Tools here. |
It doesn't work on XP, that is the only problem I have :(
|
Rune:
How were you able to get where you could play guitar and sing at the same time? I have trouble talking while playing, and I've been playing since last August. ________ Vaporizerinfo.com |
well.... you got some choices....
1. you can buy it 2. you can steal it 3. piracte it up to you... |
one more thing, you can get it to run on XP using the compatability mode feature.
|
Dudeguydude, you have to know what you're playing very well, to the point where you don't have to think about what you're playing. You will get there if you keep practicing. (I had that problem too when I tried to sing). :D
|
Okay. Well summer is coming, time for lots of practice!
Edit: Thanks! ________ Park Royal 2 Condos Prathumnak |
I used to not be able to, but what definetly helped me was playing with the music in the backround and singing to it... then turn the music down lower and lower... until you dont need it.
|
Good Idea LOM.
