To whom it may concern ... off the Scorpien King soundtrack!!!! Love that Creed song:)

creedfan47a 11-19-2002 09:03 PM

I bought The Scorpion King soundtrack just for the Creed and Nickelback songs - paid $AUD25 for it! I couldn't get To Whom It May Concern out of my head for days - great song.

Then I was going to buy the Scream 3 soundtrack just for Is This The End but, lucky me, I found it on the One Last Breath single for only $AUD4.99!! Woo-hoo!

Siana 11-21-2002 08:20 AM

Weathered :)

Dogstar 11-21-2002 10:58 AM

I heard Weathered on the radio for the first time last night. I was just about home when it came on and then I sat in the parking lot until it was over! I e-mailed the overnight DJ to thank him for playing it and ask him to keep on playing it. I was psyched!

Mulletman 11-21-2002 11:06 AM

Dogstar 12-01-2002 02:21 AM

My new fave song (for this week:D )...Gone, by Jerry Cantrell.

Altair 12-01-2002 10:27 AM

The other night I was fortunate enough to watch one of the great live bands ever. I saw Yes at Tahoe, front row! These guys are the epitome of excellence on stage. The play for over 2.5 hours and demonstrate what musicianship is about.
They have a bunch of great songs, but the one that really grabbed me the other night is "Heart of the Sunrise."

Now, while most of you are too young to maybe even know who Yes is, they might be a group you should check out, especially if you consider yourself a serious listener of music, not a casual one. With Yes, you won't find short bubble-gum pop songs. You will find long, intricate music that can take you "Close to the Edge."

TeriB19 12-01-2002 10:55 AM

Yes, Yes, nope, don't remember Yes. Were they around during the Benny Goodman era?;)

j/k, Yes rocks. (older Yes, not the 80's stuff)

You lucky dog, Altair. I have been a fan of Yes since the mid-70s and I saw them last year in an outdoor venue, but not up close like you. They are friggin awesome live. I have seen them four times overall. I can't believe Jon Anderson can still hit those high notes. Heart of the Sunrise is one of my all-time fave songs.
