Thanks Jez for posting that...I wasn't quite sure which board I saw it at. I was just glad to see him say he loved that guy...didn't mean to ruffle anybodys feathers.

facelessman 01-20-2004 10:27 PM

yeah man

apologies if this has already been posted and if this opens a hornets nest but thought people would like to see this. Not 100% certain what this means but to me it doesn't look good.

Just to let you know showjumper, Mark's comments at NAMM about him and Scott not working together for the forseeable future( Scott not wanting to move foreward fast enough) are the kindest and most pollitically correct of MANY reasons why this is so. There is quite a bit more to it than that.

I wish he wouldn't say things like without elaborating because then it gets the rumor mill churning up a storm.

DangerousDan85 01-21-2004 01:50 AM

yeah

Jez 01-21-2004 03:06 AM

No kidding.

Man, I hate it when people post a clip of what I say without including the whole context that surrounded it. This quote was taken from marktremonti.net from a thread in which the original poster met Mark at NAMM and overheard a convo where Mark said that he wasn't doing Creed because "Scott wasn't moving foreward fast enough". A different guy named Showjumper posted and he was upset that Mark would not "wait for Scott". In response, I posted the above quote.

It doesn't really sound all that out of context, but that's just my opinion. :D Regardless, the comment leaves the door wide open for all kinds of speculation.

To me it doesn't sound that good AT ALL!!!! I mean regarding to "our" band CREED... Actually I'd rather looooooved to hear something else from you, Michael! Yeah this truth hurts me... but if this is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth... I have to deal with it! Don't expect me to feel so so about it... 'cause it sucks(right now it does!!!)!!! My feelings are so mixed up right now: Looking forward to Mark's new band... Scott EXIT... where do we go from here???

Michael I want to thank you for opening up! At least some pieces of the puzzle solved...

Ok just felt the need to ventilate... :(

musicman 01-21-2004 12:33 PM

What's up with Scott P. did he leave Tremonti's project too? I keep seeing suggestions for a singer and a drummer. Did I miss something?

JenRN 01-21-2004 12:48 PM

Plain and simple...... a FORMAL statement from someone in the band or an statement from management would eliminate all this crap. Until that is done I am afraid this "he said, she said" will continue.

Jooji_2 01-21-2004 12:51 PM

Yes it does......

All these little snippets of information......I heard that he told two guys this.....I heard that from some person's cousin who lives in.....there are those that are taking things from other message boards, and using only what they want to make things appear a certain way. Kinda like cleverly placed little PR men planning their own little scenario......and I find it verrrrrrry interesting that one of them appears to be working for Brian Marshall....... :D
