I'm sorry, but that is an oxymoron coming from X. ;laugh:   |
sorry guys, i really don't understand how a blow job could afgect your work as president. I mean it was wrong what he did, but it is between him and his wife.
Plus, i think Bush also cheat his wife somewhere in their marriage. |
The point isn't that the blowjob affects his job. The point is that he did it in a public office, The White House's Oval Office.

And its ironic that you would say that :) |
And just one more comment about Clinton I forgot to add earlier (I don't know why I forgot to mention this) - the whole thing with Clinton isn't that he had a blowjob in the Oval Office, it's that he was called to testify regarding this AND LIED UNDER OATH.

Foreigners are directly affected by the United States' international policies. The thing many foreigners fail to see is that international policy is only a minute item on the President's agenda. There are many more issues that the President deals with on a daily basis besides international policy. So when foreigners bitch and complain because of the President's foreign policy, you have to realize that we Americans aren't choosing a President solely based on foreign policy, but on several other issues as well. You foreigners make it seem like foreign policy is the only issue the President has to deal with and if you don't agree with that foreign policy, than that President is bad.

Steve, good point. But as a foreigner, you realize:
1) US is the strongest economy. 2) US is the strongest political force. 3) US is the strongest military force. It's almost like Rome in the acient days. US influences other countries cultures and economy. When a president like Bush decides to disrespect UN, the rest assume since US is so strong, it can do whatever it wants when it wants if US thinks it's better for them and screw the rest. Why US doesn't need to be part of the Kyoto Protocol Agreement, for example? So no, it's not only foreign policy. The only reason US is not an empire yet is due Church - State separation. If you had those together, we'd be back in Middle Age again and the minorities would be persecuted. All world trade depends on US. US is the biggest customer and also one of the top 3 exporters. There's plenty more... |
Soooooooo.... he lied under oath.... what did he lie about? Getting a blowjob? Oh my fucking god national security is at stake!
Bush said that there is solid evidence that Iraq has WMD, they send troops there, 1,000+ american soldiers (and many more Iraqi civilians) had died, and no WMD's were found. Quastion: liying about getting a blowjob vs lying that there is solid evidence (if evidence was solid, that WMD's would and been found, right?), and leading country into war... what's worse? What has caused more people to die? |

US is nothing like Rome. When Rome was in its prime there was the, unheard of, prolongated time of absolute peace. There were no wars and no riots for about 150 years. Absolute military stilness, in the world known to the Rome. The world is anything BUT peaceful at the moment. There are many other aspects as well (is US was like Rome it would be waving nukes non-stop). Comparing US to Rome is pretty simple, yeah, but is not correct. Research the subject, pleaese. |
