Well, I'm still in middle school, actually just in pre-algebra, (because last year I didn't make the test to go to algebra1, which is probably a good thing anyway.) I'll be a freshman next year, so I'll have to take alg.1
My teacher told us that calc. just turns all of the rules around. I'm not sure, but I think that we have to take calc. to graduate. Hmm, I guess if I don't have a good teacher at school I can just turn to you people here at CF that understand it. Sometimes I'm a slow learner, other time's I'm not. Some teachers just can't explain it to me to where it'll sink in, and then my best friend can tell me in a different way and I'll get it.

heres a tip that will make everything easier for you in life. Leanr algebra, forwards and backwards... EVERY single math form revolves around algebra. if you get down algebra easily, the rest will just fall into place.

Well, I sure hope I have a good teacher next year, because I do fairly well in pre alg but I struggle with some of it because I'll get my rules mixed up a lot. I hate all these freaking rules, but like you said, if I don't get it down, it'll just make it that much harder later on. Maybe I can get a job at making up superbowl ads. Gee, that would be the life! ;)

b) A*(any given long sequence of zeros) = A
