Well, I don't believe in God as it is given to us in any religion. But I do believe in something. I just don't believe in God through a church.
And second, I think the bible or whatever religious book you want is a litlle crapy, a lot of fairy tales etc. |
God is Love...
If you believe in love...wouldn't you also believe in God? God is in each of us...as we were created in "his" own image... If you believe in yourself, and one another... wouldn't you also believe in God? be kind to one another...be compassionate to one another, understand and embrace all of Gods creations...judge no one, and you will not be judged...and you will understand "who" God is... is this not what Jesus taught? of course all will believe/not believe as they will..and that too is o.k. the choices are offered...it is up to us what is done with them. |

The strange thing is that I never really went to church as a kid or anything, we had mormons, jehovies etc coming to the door, I had scripture classes and stormed out of them, but in some way, God revealed Himself to me. Though I did not know about Jesus and all that yet, He showed me who He was. I let Him go and went on with high school. At the end of high school I met some people that had personal relationships with God. I got closer and closer to Him as a result. Came to the reality of Jesus as saviour in the shower LOL For me, God is extremely sovereign and powerful, but at the same time as kind as can be. He could wipe you out in a second, but is unbelieveably patient. We dont have to reach Him, He reaches out to us. And He communicates with us and is involved in our daily lives as an intimate, gentle, loving friend. He's pretty amazing I must say. |

im one of those. |
I was lucky enough to be brought up in a Christian home and I was always taught that Jesus died on the cross for me and that the only way to heaven was through him. I believed it and I can't really remember exactly when I was saved, because it was so long ago, but I know where I'm headed when my time here on earth is up. And I'm not saying I want to die right now, I have a lot of things I want to do after I'm done with school, like marriage, kids, stuff like that, but I'm looking forward to spending eternity in heaven.
Remember, no one is guaranteeing you that you will have a tomorrow... |

Yeh I can understand that some would think that myself and Luke would need therapy, cos seriously, the reality of God can only really be revealed through His Spirit. Then there's no denying it. He's more real than U or I. Anyone here can ask God to reveal Himself to them, dont matter who U are. Cos He said, Taste and see that The Lord is good, and also He said that its His desire that none perish, so ask, He will answer. Sure, Scott Stapp asked when he was younger and nothing happened, but that didnt mean that God wasnt gonna answer his prayer. As we know, God has revealed Himself to Scott fully in 2004 and he has made a decision for Christ. So if U dont get an answer straight away, like Hayley when she went to church that time, doesnt mean He isnt at work and will reveal Himself in the right time. :o Ask and U will recieve, knock and the door will be opened to you Keep knockin! ;) |
