What are your thouhts on the albulm cover [Archive]

It gives the impression that his album will rock. its a typical scott stapp pose and some how it reminds me of something U2 would do. It seems very different than creed and alter bridge albulm covers, Im not sure if Micheal tremonti did it or not. Hopefully they were shooting to make it different along with the music.

Where'd you find the cover at? I honestly have not seen it yet, and it doesn't appear to be on either Stapp's official site or Amazon.

I know I'm going to take some heat for saying this, but here goes: I think that album cover is hilarious. I'm not saying it's bad, or anything like that, I just laughed really hard when I saw it. I have no idea why; there's just something about it that makes me laugh.

Anyway, I'm still really looking forward to the CD.

I agree Metalanus - very Bono-esque. He has said in the past that he was inspired by Bono/U2. Whatever the reason behind the cover, it's a classic example of 'less being more'.

Haaaaaaa i know it things hit me funny for no reason at all now the album cover would not be one of theme without getting in to one of my long long long long details i really liked it the style of it when i very first saw it i fell in love with it :jam: :jam: :jam:

Seems more quaint and personal. Atleast to me. The album cover is too posing and unreal. His solo album is supposed to be a reflection of him and the single cover is more along those lines.

I'm betting that no one named Tremonti had anything to do with it. Though I think that putting your picture on the cover of your first new CD as a solo artist is a pretty smart thing to do.

Hate it. Dont find one redeeming feature about it all. First reaction was laughter which is never good for an album cover. I mirror other peoples thoughts bout the single cover being better.

Yeah, I highly doubt Dan Tremonti made the cover. (And I REALLY highly doubt that Mike Tremonti did it, like Metalanus said in his first post :D).

I agree that the single cover is better, but still, this is cool! It's new and different! Go Scott, think outside the box! (Just make sure you do it well)

EVERYONE OF YOU GUYS ARE EXPECTING something CREEDY on the cover, get over it you won get it, its the start of a new era for scott now, so let the cover sink in, wait till u hear his songs and if u like them , then u will like the cover better and better... cant judge it now

I don't know, I guess I'm one of those guys who likes the album covers that don't necessarily have the artist on there. I really liked the covers for Human Clay and MOP, and even the Weathered cover was creative. But this cover....it kinda looks 80s-ish. I think it's a fine idea to feature Stapp on the cover, by himself, but I don't like the way they did that. I think it's probably the plain-ness of the background.

I think the single cover would have been a better choice for the album cover.
