Heard that Creed and The Stone Temple Pilots once played Pearl Jam's song Jeremy live. Was this released on an album? Anyone know where I can get the song? Any information is appreciated!!! Thanks!

Wow, I never heard about that, so I'm not sure if they really did, and if they did, if it is available for download. Now that you've mentioned it, I'll go see if I can find it.

Alright, I just checked into it on WinMX. I did a search for Creed and came up with "Stone Temple Pilots & Creed - Jeremy(Pearl Jam cover live).mp3" I tried to DL it, however, it won't download at the moment. I'm going to keep trying to DL it, and if I ever get it to DL, I can send you it via yousendit.com.

I'm having trouble getting it, but quite a few on there have it, so I'm confident that I'll eventually be able to download it. I don't know how long it'll take, but when I get it, I'll send it along.

Alright, it is now downloading(!!!) It is about 77% complete and downloading quickly, so I should have it soon. Please contact me via PM with your email, and I'll send the file along to you.

*Edit*:I have not listened to the song, so I don't know if it is the legit copy. I am only going off of what the name says.

Wasn't STP broken up by the time Creed formed? This sounds really phoney.

Yes, I'm fairly certain it was all bulls**t.

nah, they released albums in 1999 and 2001, they broke up in 2003.

its still probably BS though, because i've read stuff where Weiland shows his distaste for Creed.

THE SONG IS NOT LEGIT. I've heard it. It's just a live version of PJ singing it. It's not a cover. It's not Creed. It's at least definetly not Scott Stapp. I doubt it's even STP.

H-D :pimp:

Now I've listened to it and there's no Creed in this!
Why would someone put it out for download as a Creed + STP collaboration?
I mean, Pearl Jam doesn't need help to be "promoted". ;)
Thanks anyway Titan!!! You're really very helpful! :)

is it absolutely positively PJ? b/c i've come across songs labeled Creed, as well as other artists, that were really just smaller bands trying to promote themselves. take "Alone": it's supposedly a Creed/Tool song according to the P2P networks it's one; however, it's really performed by a band called Downface

Yeah, I've run into that before.(with songs not labeled correctly) The thing with this particular live version of Jeremy(that is supposedly by Creed and STP, but really isn't) is that there are no versions on WinMX that are by PJ that are that particular length. All other live versions of Jeremy on there are shorter than this file. I finally got a chance to listen to it, and it sounded to me like it was more Eddie than it was Stapp so it's definitely a fake, like everyone else said.

Not a problem, man. I'm just sorry it wasn't a legit file.
