Yeah, it is. Mark actually wrote all the words and music. They performed it back in the bar scene in the early days of Creed.

Creed first song ever was named "Before I Die". It was pretty dark. Scott sang the chourse in an interview.

it's actually kinda "fun" to go on P2P programs and search for Creed under artist, and see what mislabeled stuff turns up, some of the songs are pretty good (like the Creed/Tool song "Alone", actually performed by Downface, and the opspeculate, attributed to Mark, but really performed by a guy who goes by "The RockSTAR"
