What blows is when you desperatly are searching for a job and no one is hiring and what makes it ever worse is when your friend who just sits on their ass looks only one day and gets a nice paying job it FEAKIN PISSES ME OFF :mad1:

That does suck. I hope you guys find work soon. I know how frustrating that can be, pounding the pavement and coming up empty. Hang in there!

I lost an entry level engineering job at HP/Compaq to small nigerian man. I found it rather funny because he kept mentioning Dell. I am assuming he was better qualified [as much as i hate to admit theres someone better] From talking to him I knew he knew his stuff... but his accent and dialect made it difficult to understand him. He could explain things with diagrams, but his verbal skills were lacking.

But, hey I could have your friend shot. Hell this one I'll do on the house!

All kidding aside, what job were you looking for and where did you look? have you tried looking online? If you look online its better to go through a search engine that is tailored for that career field. Dont expect to get good specialized jobs from monster.com or yahoo's hotjobs.

Ya, yahoo hot jobs sucks  Monster.com is slightly better, although it sucks as well :)

Thats why I asked, becase monster and hotjobs are general searches and are more helpfull for finding normal jobs. Dice is good if you are looking for tech jobs. If you are looking for a professional career I suggest going to the web site of a company that interests you.

not to be a pimp, but IBM boosted its hiring forecast in US!!! I don't have the link for the article here, but the company is opening a lot of new spots.

You can apply on www.ibm.com
