I know Alter Bridge's "Open Your Eyes" is currently the #3 rock song in the country, but Scott Stapp's Relearn Love isn't on any of the billboard charts.

Well - it's not a "hit song" or "radio song". I'm not surprised!

It was played on my station but the majority of the people calling in said that they hated it and the station hasn't played it since.

"Relearn Love" is charting on Christian Music...it was in the Mid 40's for the week of 9/6.

some of the regular stations did get the single....but i don't think Windup pushed it too much...basically it was up to the DJ's that had it to play it...

I've also read it was being re-recorded...should be interesting seeing how it will "change"...

It hasn't been released as single! Neither for radio or sale! Thats why!

From everything I've heard/read it was sent to radio as a single for the Passion CD release, however Stapp was supposed to rerecord it before it actually becoming a mainstream radio single.

I wonder if they're re-doing the music or just the vocals.

I'm probably as big a fan of Stapp as there is here, but I didn't love RL. Hopefully his other solos will be up to his normal level.

Sorry about bumping up an old thread, but they're all new to me.

you talkin' to me? all's i'm sayin' is that the song as it is on the cd isn't very secular, rock radio friendly. the redone version, of which there is a clip on stappo's site, sounds like an improvement
