You have to be a member of AOL and its only a stream. This is part of AOL Broadband and the dont skip on the quality - So you dial up users will be somewhat frustrated. Heh, somewhat, I mean very.

Officially, the song will be released tonight at midnight to AOL. The song should be on the radio on Tuesday.

Until then, my lips are sealed - but, Scott fans WILL NOT be disappointed. :D

well... if it's on Kazzaa it's because Wind-up wanted us to hear it...so I'm posting a short review until we can make it official.

Stapp is in good shape again!!! The lyrics are great! I'm just disappointed with the music... it misses emotion, there's something that's not there... it's kinda pop, but since this is a song to feature on The Passion of Christ soundtrack, it's understandable. I don't think this is the line Stapp will follow, though.

It's much softer than he's ever done (not as soft as Lullaby and I don't think it'll get play on the easy listening stations) but it is a great song. I like it a lot. No screaming guitars, no heavy noise, I don't think those who are hard hard rock fans will enjoy it as much, but I enjoyed it. It's different. That's my :2cents:

i downloaded it this morning, i'm really diggin it. I've probably listen to it about 6 times. the version i downloaded had sound "drop outs", probably because the beeps were removed. I can't wait to hear it tonight on AOL without that.

Don't get me wrong: it was awesome to hear him again but... It's too poppy imo... too catchy... and I didn't like the "echo" in his voice. I can't wait to hear what the "real" solo-album will sound like.

I can understand how the song might not have enough of a "hook" for some people...to me it's somewhere in between One Last Breath and Don't Stop Dancing, which I really LOVE btw, there is nothing "pop" about trying to hang on when you just can't see the light....

But coupled with the lyrics I think it's pretty wonderful...and the fact that it was for the Passion tribute cd...

It is growing on me, it takes me a long time to digest any new music...I didn't like any Creed stuff at first, or Metallica either, lolol...

But the more you understand anything the better it gets, to me...

first of all thanks to the person that sent it to me! :D
secondly ummm perhaps but i do love the fact his voice sounds more natural and less forced than some of creed's stuff. lyrically scott is always great and again he's done an awesome job even if some might see it as a little sappy. jeff martin did a good job on that solo and the backing vocals as well, hopefully the tea party contribute to more songs.

I thought just the opposite. The song is very different then the songs he sang with Creed.

I've listened to the song non-stop for 3 days now. JMO, but I love the sound of Scott's voice.

Scott is more then capable of writing the music. The Tea Party played on RL, they might not have written the music. Scott could have.

but what do you base that on? he wrote none of creed's music at all unless you count vocal melodies. with this song you have jeff martin who is a very good guitarist but who does any solos in the future? just curious.....
