I remember playing strip poker at a party once, but I think that was the only time I've ever actually played

Really? :jerk: I've never been able to convince girls to play strip before.

I play sometimes. I guess I'm OK. I did win some good "money" at Texas Hold'em style at Casino night here at school. And by "money" I mean tickets that I could use to buy a prize. Blackjack is more my thing. I cleaned out one of the dealers. :D

never played, no desire to learn b/c gaining experience requires losing money, which i'm not interested in doing

Learning does not mean losing money. You can play online at free sites to learn how to play. You can play with friends for chips, pennies, pretzels, doritos, etc. ;)

I like playing poker but I don't know many people who also like to play so I hardly play :( I play online at Yahoo! Games once in awhile.

I like to play, get in trouble sometimes at school for playing.(hehe, i even got in trouble in the fourth grade for playing poker and black jack) texas hold em is by far the best to play.

Yeah. That's along the lines of what I was going to say. Just because you play, doesn't mean you have to bet on the game.

LOL. And, TX H-E is the easiest way, and increases your odds.

yeah, Texas hold'em is the best, but playing for hours does get kinda monotonous, so we spice it up with other card games.

Poker is one of the hardest card games out there.
Rules may be easy, but good poker player should know opponents hands in late rounds, and bet accordingly.
Poker is the game of skill, but 99% of people play it as if it's a game of luck.

 Yeah, really. It was really fun. I was the loser so I had most of my clothes off. It was good fun though, I laugh thinking about it. We didn't bet or anything, that's what made it fun.

LOL @ this thread :D...I like to play poker, but as Lechium said, I look at it as chance more than skill. My family plays and we have nickel-dime bets and stuff. Nothing too serious money-wise. I played with some friends at work once and man, they were too high-stakes for me. People were writing out checks to cover their bets in the pot.

 Will you have the table all set up for some poker? ;) If so, sure. :spank:
