I'm 17 .......laying down makes it worse because my stomach acid comes up more when I'm flat than when I'm vertical

cauze when i had trouble sleeping i went to the doctors, they gave me these pills, i had to take them for awhile, and it's fine now..i've gotten into a rythmitic pattern of sleeping.

I've seen a lot of docs because I've been sick for over a year. If you want the whole story you can check under "Stapp's Put On Weight". I explained the whole thing in there. It's in the band section from a while ago.

i am not sure, but i think it's ulcer medicine for stomach and acid problems. i think there's prilosec too, or maybe that's what nexium used to be. i am not on it, i just always see those damn "purple pill" commercials. get your purple computer and your purple pen...........blah blah, they have like a million of them. i am surprised you have never heard of it

oh i see...my mum has terrible heart burn and sometimes when we have finished dinner, she sits at the table and clutches her chest...it's like, OKAAAAAY...yuck it must be horrible i don't think i have ever had it.

yea its medication for severe acid reflux, i got a hiatal hernia from excesive weight lifting when i was in high school. my status is now severe and they had me on nexium but my insurance wouldnt cover it. so no i am on prevacid. but, since it conflicts with a lot of other things, i can only take it once a week. i prefer the nexium because its stronger i could take one and go weeks without heart burn, its not as much with the prevacid...
