Posted at the Pit by Everyone Ignores Me:

Just got home from EDBD and got my FIL to take a detour down to Alter Road. There are actually 4 bridges down there, but I think we figured out which one it was by the suroundings. I have more pics, but they are not ready to be posted.

This is my pic. Do not use without permission!!!

I couldn't see a bridge either, unless it just looked like the road.....

Oh, is it that thing right infront of that white building???? I think I kinda see it now. Wow, real huge noticeable thing to name your band after eh???!!! ;)

The road going back by the house is the bridge, you can see it is slightly raised and on the right side you can see like a concrete side/railing

I can see it, but it would be more clear if that STUPID writing wasn't in the middle if the picture. Nice bridge, though, I thought it would be bigger than that, like a proper busy moterway bridge

It looks nice though that would be cool to just go there

how can a "bridge" be nice?...it's just a bridge..connects point "a" to point "b"...as insiginificant as it appears to be...apparently it has some kind of personal meaning to be the choice of a name for a band. I'm curious as to whether there is a song on this album that was written with the meaning of this "bridge" as the subject matter...if so...then that might explain a few things...

how could y'all not see the bridge? it's not large--is that what you were expecting? a very "humble" bridge, indeed... makes the name that much more interesting

I was expecting a bigger bridge myself but you're right, BearFan, it makes the name more interesting. Thanks for the link, Tremonticized. :)

I wasn't really expecting a big bridge, but I was expecting like to see a side view kind of. Well, that was a side view, but not the kind of side view I was expecting.

Am I going crazy??? Did that make any sense what so ever???

I thought that was the fence by the house.

I saw the bridge, but you can barely tell it's a bridge. maybe if the shot was from another angle

makes perfect sense... people were expecting to see soemthing along the lines of the Nickelback Long Road CD cover, not a shot from the road that crosses it

I think it's a cute little bridge. I thought it was bigger too LOL.

I'd love to see it from the other side of the bridge too...but I think it's meaning is that much more there.

Well I think it is nice, becuse it must hold a special meaning to the guys or else they wouldn't have picked it. And to me, it holds alot of meaning. It's a significant place that seperates the wealthy from the poor.
