Well they did do a showcase, but I don't know what "venue" that woulda been...but that could be a "Tour date" LOL

Am I wrong in finding this thread humorous?

If you wanted to be "technical"...late August ;)

Here's the lineup:

Myles Kennedy - Vocals, Guitar
Mark Tremonti - Lead Guitar
Brian Marshall - Bass
Scott Phillips - Drums

You can't really say Mark is doing vocals. He will only do some harmonizing. That's about it, I think.

The leadsinger isn't Myles Kennedy?

It's never been confirmed from an official source. Sure, Flip's aunt said it was him and I personally believe it, but the band themselves, the record label, or anyone else in an official position to say so hasn't said it. So in the technical sense, he hasn't been confirmed.

hayley
04-13-2004, 05:53 PM
Well that's a good point. I hope it's him though, he sounds like he has real potential

No he hasn't. But I was at the "showcase" of the new band. And Myles was doin' all the singing. So take that for what it's worth.

The thread was just cracking me up in general. Never mind me.

Bridge of Clay
04-13-2004, 09:59 PM
ditto, rockgoddess.

Besides, it wasn't Flip's aunt, it was his mom. And Myles has been hanging out with Mark and the guys a lot lately. ;)

i have it on inside information that this is a conspiracy between Wind-Up Records and their international partner Sony to sell records of a fleding artist MF4. They get Myles to sing on a guest spot for this band and then we all go out and buy their albums to hear this guy sing. Their singer is actually Big Bird off Sesame Street. Stange but true its an "inside source" after all that can't be named for reasons of confidentality. oops i just spilled the beans ooops.

aussiecreeder
04-15-2004, 01:39 AM
Big Bird is DA MAN! it is also a conspiracy regarding Marshall playing bass, an equally big mouth (but in my humble opinion funnier) cookie monster will be playing bass. this is all very wacky i agree but that is why Michael and others are keeping it so hush hush and not letting many details out. don't believe me? see if i care........

Trees of Wisdom
04-15-2004, 01:41 AM
They're being hush hush about it because under the Big Bird suit, it's really Scott Stapp. :wtf:

hayley
04-15-2004, 01:45 AM

My uncle used to get called big bird at school

i don't think the band has any plans for a tambourine player at the moment but perhaps Michael can fill us in there. :D
