They Played Weathered!

I cant beleive I actually heard weathered on the radio. Even though it was 2:30 in the morning it was still awesome! Hopefully it will catch on unlike dsd. Im definitely going to request it as much as i can. Everybody else should too.;)

I know. It was wierd too because i was half asleep when it happened and i thought it was my cd so i was looking all over for my cd player and was stumbling all over the place and knocking things over. :silly:

weathered will probably catch on more than DSD becuase Weathered is Creed but DSD is some band trying to please the pop rock sence...

Yeah, I've heard it here a few times.... and its catching on big too! The DJ here (doesn't love Creed a whole lot) played the song and when he came back on he paused for about 5 seconds and then said, "damn... that is by FAR my favorite Creed track in a LONG time... like, since MOP"

Thanks for the encouragement...with our Sac show just 2.5 weeks away I was going to start requsting something BESIDES OLB and MS...That song is soooo great, and I am sure the band is really feeling those lyrics now..

I haven't heard it here yet, either, but the radio does seem Creed friendly, even if the DJs are not. Today, one of them said that he heard that the band Seether was described as S. Africa's answer to Creed. He groaned after that and said he was worried, but then heard Seether and liked them. Obviously not a Creed fan, grrrrr.

I have not even heard DSD on the radio here!!! I really don't listen to the radio much due to lack of good music!!! But I can't wait for them to release Weathered, I have to say it is one of my most favorite Creed songs. Lucky to hear them play it live 2 times, last 2 shows they did not play it:( I hope they put out a vidoe for it too!!!!!!!

I feel like Creed's last few singles, except for OLB, have mostly not done well. I mean, I love Bullets and all, and I think it's one of their best songs, but it never got the amount of airplay it needed to truly catch on. The same went for DSD, which I feel like they've already given up on.

They started playing Weathered on my local rock station sometime last week!! I couldn't believe it when I heard it!! Since they are coming to town on Sunday, they've been playing them alot more now!! And Teri..remember when I told you they cut out part of the lyrics on MOP?? Well, I actually called the station today and asked them why...The DJ told me, she didn't know why, only that it's the cut they got from the record company!! That made me feel a little better...I hated the thought that they were cutting up the song..but I guess they have nothing to do with that!

I heard that cut version of MOP, too, one day. I'm singing along, and they skipped part of the first verse. Threw me for a loop. I still haven't heard Weathered on the radio here, though. The DJs grudgingly play Creed, though. OLB and MOP get a lot of play as does MS. They are always bashing or making snide remarks, especially when Scott S. was ill...grrrrr.

I hate it when they cut out a part of a Creed song. It threw me off too! I was starting to sing the one part the edited out for MOP and I was like whoa! Where did it go and why did they cut it out?! :eek: :confused:

Fortunately for them (I'd have to hurt someone) our dj's are pretty cool about Creed..they don't ever bash them!! B4 they were coming back I hardly ever heard them on the radio, but now they play them quite a bit!! Mainly the harder rock stuff is what they play, being as it's a hard rock station!! I freaked the day they played that cut version of MOP I was like: "Hey!! WTF!! I e-mailed them to find out why, never got a response..but this morning at work, when they played it, I jumped on the phone and called...But it makes me feel better to know that other stations are playing the same song, even though it REALLY SUCKS!!! :)

i heard weathered on some new jersey radio stations i was shocked but very pleased:) :D :dancing: :bounce: its about time they give the band the recognition that they deserve, creed is one of the best bands in rock and roll....
