Made me think you had it wrong

For falling hard upon the ice

Others see through foggy eyes
Stumble forward, no disguise
So unfair you couldn’t see
Delusion kept you far from free

At the lake we sometimes talk
Bait in hand, the fish you stalk
Behind the wheel, young and smug
Crashed the wall, a hole you dug

Swore I saw you in a dream
Flashed that smile, so sure you seemed
Don’t you cry, you said so sweet
The angels take good care of me
