See her shiver
Steps you trace
Cup your hands
Around her face

Draw her closer
Aim your gun
Zero in on
Heart so young

Can’t escape uneasy feeling
Leaves her wanting, senses reeling
Fills her head with empty words
Feeds her hungry voice unheard

Kiss her gently
Sweet your smile
Can’t resist your
Touching guile

Stroke her hair
Web you weave
Watch her fall
You make believe

Can’t escape uneasy feeling
Leaves her wanting, senses reeling
Fills her head with empty words
Feeds her hungry voice unheard

Hear him stammer
Truth now clear
Tries to make
It seem sincere

See her bitter
Stare so cold
Sticks the knife
In loveless soul

I don't want to sound like Bill Clinton here, but I can definitely feel her pain. Really really good, DS!!

LOL, Creedsister., I don't know where it comes from half the time :D...I've always written in some form just to get stuff out when I can't talk to anyone. Sometimes, what I write has nothing to do with what I wanted to get out in the first place, LOL....

Teri and Iced....thanks much...:)
