This board costs $160. But you own the software once you purchase it. You also need to pay for web hosting for the board.

I used to use phpBB on another website.. there were way too many bugs and it just wasn't as user friendly as this one is (my opinion)

HUH? Did you pay a one time$160:00 fee? :confused: Plus a monthly hosting?? Don't mean to be nosy, just curious, I never knew how that worked Steve... but I love this creedfeed site, and would be lost without it, and the friends I have made on it!!!!;)

Yes, I purchased the message board from the company who made it - when you purchase it, you can download the source code and install it on your own webserver. That's where the monthly hosting fees come in. I have to pay a monthly fee to keep CreedFeed.com and CreedCommunity.com up and running (it's $20/month for both). That's why I have to limit features. $20 is ok for me, but that's as high as I can go right now. I would let you post images, unlimited attachments, send as many pm's as you want, etc. but the bandwidth the site uses costs money. I'm only allowed 10 GIGs bandwidth/month so I have to limit what is allowable here.

I'm happy with the all the smilies, and the being able to upload our own avies!!! Alot of sites don't alow you to do that, that was one thing that attracted me to this Creedfeed site, along with it being a Creed site..:) ;) :D :angel:

I was taking a look at ezboard...
the free bb is just a trial...after 30 days you have to pay six dollars/month
